After meeting with you and recording all details of your financial circumstances My ABC Financial Coach will then provide you with recommendations and methods to make the necessary changes so that you have control of your finances and life.
Our coaching process works as follows for FAMILIES & BUSINESSES;
We don’t simply walk away believing that, on your own, you can suddenly reverse your behaviour that has been learned over many years. Our coaching process offers months of support and encouragement so that eventually your decisions to take control of your spending will come automatically.
Essential elements that you must have to be successful include:
· be positive about making the changes
· have self belief that you can change
· not settle for anything less than your personal best
· not believe in good luck or good fortune as good fortune only comes from positive action and careful planning
· not be afraid to think outside the square - just because everyone is doing it does not mean it is right
Most people don’t like change, so you need emotional strength and reassurance and to forget many of your past decisions. The best way is to focus on one thing at a time - e.g. do you really need to shop three times a week? Often poor decision making occurs if you have several things on your mind and your emotions take over, rather than rational thoughts.
You need to build the emotional muscle so you are mentally and physically fit to avoid all the stress, frustrations and distractions that ruin your plans. My ABC Financial Coach will provide you with the power to turn your weaknesses into strengths and dreams into realities.
What can you and your family expect from us
We have designed forms that are sophisticated, but easy to use on your pc. Clients without a pc can enter data by hand on our forms. We offer all possible encouragement for you to make the necessary changes to your current spending patterns.
We provide guidance on concrete ways to spend less without losing any quality of life. You will need to plan ahead but, importantly, your lifestyle will not suffer because you will be healthier and happier as you be in control of your finances. Impulse buying on credit cards will disappear because you would rather enjoy life rather than spend money. We help with suggestions regarding many low cost things that you can do instead of retail therapy. Very importantly, your family will need to be involved so that they can help you to follow our program and for your family to help you change your spending patterns.
Before we start preparing recommendations we require you to sign a CLIENT ENGAGEMENT AGREEMENT so you are clear on what we offer and expect from our clients. Our maximum household fee is $550 for our 6 months full premium coaching plan for employees and also applies to self employed people. Our maximum business service costs $1500 which covers the premium home service plus thorough review of a family's 2 businesses.
Our standard service that covers most things is $330 and includes you sending us regular reports of your actual spending by email using our forms so we can monitor your results.
We regularly encourage, review and discuss the necessary changes that you are making to bring your finances under control. The premium fee applies where we are required to liaise with your bank/creditors as well as reviewing possible Centrelink entitlements. Also for self employed people we can recommend action on your business, as well as your private household spending, to show ways of improving your business cashflow. Again you have two options - either our standard business review or our premium business review. Additional fees will apply, if you agree and sign another CLIENT ENGAGEMENT AGREEMENT, if your affairs are very complex or you require a higher level of service.
